I made another craft for today! So far I’m 2 and 0 in this Make Something Cool Every Day Challenge. I ROCK! Sure it’s kind of a repeat of a previous project, but this one is shiny.
Another dice bag, but this one is made out of gold cord. It was a lot harder to do, but I think it was worth it! Now I just need to get all these things up on Etsy. Yet ANOTHER thing to add to my To Do List. Oy.
This weekend is going to be interesting. We’re spending all day tomorrow looking at houses and we also have to do our taxes. (We’re such slackers!) Taxes get twice as complicated when you have a freelancer in the house. And somewhere in there, Alex and I will probably fight over who gets to play with the new toy we got in the mail today. A HP TouchSmart Notebook. I’ve just been installing all our programs and what not and I am already in LOVE with this little thing. I should let Alex play with it first since he’s actually going to do work on it. Bah. Work is for losers. I wanna doodle!
It came with Corel Painter 4 Essentials so I’ve been playing with that. It’s new to me, but it’s pretty neat. I am also going to put Gimp on there and we will have Photoshop again soon, hopefully. This way, I can finally mess with all three programs in depth and decide which one is my favorite. I still have that darn elf to color for our local card shop. And I have a few more ideas for posters for them, as well. Why isn’t there enough time in the day to do all these things? If I could just get rid of sleep I’d be good…..
