Alex and I didn’t really do anything for Valentine’s Day this year. We hate trying to go on a date that day, so we just stayed in and then played Rock Band with friends for hours. I wanted to make him something sweet, but never got around to it. So yesterday, I made him this:
I should have put a regular d20 next to it so you could see the size of this thing. It was ALMOST as big as his head. The inside is one huge Rice Crispie treat.
My original plan was to make an entire set of dice (like d4 and d8 and so on) and put on in his lunch he takes to work every day. After trying to make just one small one, I realized that I’m not the Rice Crispie sculptor I thought I was. After messing up countless times, I just mashed all the little treats into one big treat! Much easier to carve this way. Then I coated the whole thing with white chocolate and milk chocolate to decorate. It is definitely not my best work, but he loved it and it was delicious. So that’s all that matters!
