Frustration!

I think I am completely fed up on this whole sewing thing. I am forcing myself to finish these costumes just because we spent nearly $100 on supplies. I almost finished my jacket and realized that the collar is completely off. I’m going to have to rip out most of the stitches and resize everything to get it to fit properly. GRRRRRRRR. I had to walk away from the project last night because I was just about to throw the whole darn thing in the trash. But Saturday is the big party and then it will all be over. I’m going to stick to sewing small quick things after this. But then again, knowing me, about this time next year, I’ll be thinking about Halloween costumes again and think of some awesome idea and tell myself it wasn’t THAT bad. Maybe I’ll remember this post and just go buy or rent something.

In other news, I sold my last DS case in Etsy. I REALLY need to make more stuff to put up in there. Right now I just have a scarf and a rather boring DS case. My knitting skills are getting slowly better. I’ll get to experiment with “blocking” here in a day or two. Wish me luck!
