As I mentioned yesterday, we have some old friends staying with us, along with their two daughters who are 2 and 4. This has definitely been an educational experience. While I don’t think the Professor will be having Princess dress up time 4 times a day like these two, I am getting to see the full destructive power of young kids. And the noise. Oh my. “MIIIIINNNNEEEE!!” “NOOOOOOOO!” “MOOOOMMMY!” “Miss Renee, LOOK! LOOK! LOOK AT MEEEEE!” I’m taking mental notes, and hopefully steeling myself for the future.
Don’t get me wrong, not all of it is like that. These two little ladies have been cracking me up ever since they got here. Here are some of my favorite moments:
2-year-old quotes:
“This cracker is STINKY!”
“Bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy bibidy……..”
“This chair is stinky!”
This, however, was the highlight of my week:
While I was nursing the Professor, she was getting an anatomy lesson from her mom:
4-year-old: “What are those for?” (pointing at the boobs)
Mommy: “Those are for making milk for babies.”
4-year-old: “Do they make juice, too?”
And today, we’re all packing up and going to the Nashville zoo. This should be VERY entertaining.
