So who wants to meet up at DragonCon? Nancy from Dabbled and I are planning to! (And hopefully we can get Cassie from the Mario Scarf Project, too!) Cassie is totally in as you can see from her comment below! Sweet! We are going to meet together at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Pulse Bar in the Marriott Marquis. Hopefully we’ll be able to hang out somewhere around there, or we may have to trek on to a different location. I don’t think we have anything planned other than just hobnobbing and trading information. I am going to have a bunch of my dice bags to give away to anyone that asks me for one!
Dot said we should make a sign saying something like “Geek Crafters Unite!” so hopefully one of us will get around to that. But I did realize that since I’m meeting a bunch of new people that have NO idea what I look like, it may behoove me to post a picture so I’ll be easier to find. So, here ya go. It’sa me!
I will probably be wearing that shirt, too. Favorite shirt on the planet.

I’m totally in! I’m even willing to play chauffeur to anyone who wants to see some of Atlanta- East Atlanta, my neighbor, is home to some great eats/drinks. I haven’t made up my panel schedule yet, but I might post it this week on my blog to see if anyone wants to join me.

Yeah, I agree with Sandra. Too bad I just found it today. I live in Decatur and wouldve liked to meet other nerdy crafters at dragon con! lol. ah well, theres always next year!

I got all excited when I saw Decatur because there’s a city near Huntsville also called Decatur. I’m assuming you meant Decatur in Georgia, not Alabama?

Next time there is a nerd-crafter meetup, count me in too! Want to schedule another one before next year’s Dragon-Con? My boyfriend went to Georgia Tech, a very nerd-friendly place. Maybe we can do something there and get some food together?
