My first Jack O’Lantern this season!
Army of Darkness is one of my favorite movies of all time. It’s unapologetically over the top. It has pretty goofy special effects and an even goofier plot, and of course, the infamous Bruce Campbell. *drool* If you haven’t seen it, then you are forbidden from coming back to my blog until you’ve seen it!! Go watch it! Now! And take a large bottle of liquor with you. It makes it even better. ![]()
Even though some people won’t recognize this as Ash from the movie, it still seems Halloweeny since it’s a dude with a chainsaw. I win either way!
I’m kidding of course about the blog thing. You’re still welcome here. But we will have to revoke your geek sub-culture member card. Dem’s da breaks, kiddo.

No way, you made that?! Totally awesome. My friend is a HUGE Bruce Campell fan, so he’ll be getting that today. I need to get a pumpkin yet. But I hate carving them out, just a pain.
Very nice…is there anything you can’t make?

Wait, HIS name is Ash? I’m sorry, but I already don’t like this movie. *pouts*

Great job on the pumpkin - you are so crazy talented, it’s almost as frightening as a guy with a chainsaw!
But… are you trying to tell me that people exist in the world that would NOT recognize that as Ash, and who might NOT jump up and down with glee when they saw this jack-o-lantern?! I’m not sure I want to live in that world.
(Have you seen Evil Dead 1 & 2 as well? Classics. I would also highly recommend Bruce Campbell’s autobiography, “If Chins Could Kill.” Good stuff!)

I hope you don’t mind. I love Army of Darkness and had to share the geekery.

THAT is beyond awesome! I love all his movies, even BubbaHotep. That movie and a bottle of vodka—good times, baby, good times….
Haha, “If Chins Could Kill” is such a hilarious book. *makes mental note to get my copy back from my brother*
